FSAE Wheel-side Motor Reducer Design

Overview

Designed a single-stage planetary gear reducer for the USTB Dingchi E-New ERA 2027 rear-wheel-drive dual in-wheel motor racing car (DTI F-MOT-B motors). Performed parametric sweep optimization across 5 gear ratios (i=8.0 to i=11.33), including ISO 6336 strength verification, μ-sweep acceleration analysis, bearing selection, and mass estimation. All calculations verified with Python scripts.
